Judas Priest in the gallery!

Now we're looking forward to tomorrow, with a hit-parade from Queens of the Stoneage before the Foo Fighters concert, all at the idyllic Koengen.

Leather-pants, Harley Davidson and "Breaking the law", all in place for the Judas Priest-gig tonight at Bergenshallen. I bit too much haze for my taste, but luckily I got some good stuff out of it. Beautiful audience as well.

Only three days left until QOTSA and Foo Fighters!

The concert was everything you could expect, and the band was one of the greatest I've worked with. Looking forward to sharing the rest of the photos.

The photos from the Immaturus-production "Tuftene" is now up in the gallery. Lovely to see how they used old radios and a tv-set to set the mood.

Bergenfest was helluvalot work, but great fun as well. I covered 31 shows, starting with the Dirty Dozen Brass Band at Grieghallen and ending with Patti Smith at Ole Bull Scene. It's all up on Festivalfoto.no.

The old guy himself during concert. The lighting reflected the rest of the show perfectly - Nice, but boring in the long run.

But what can you say; he's a classic, a legend and a great guitarist still. I'm just too used to these younglings jumping around on stage.

Days of sun and cold beer with friends in parks. A nice change from the regular rain and wind we have to live with.

Not many artists feature the kazoo, but lately I've seen quite a few. Tonight, for example, I'm seeing Tim Tygg at Hulen, and they use it (but they use all kinds of unusual instruments, so it kinda doesn't count).

Next big concert on my schedule is Mark Knopfler, and then it's on to BergenFest.

Three new concerts up in the gallery this week, and one premiere-play, but else than that a slow week.

Lately I've been taking portraits with this EOS 1N and some Ilford XP2 which comes out with great contrasts and nice grain. Here's a portrait of Ingrid outside the student-café on the day of BORG's program-release on the 29th. They had the DJs from HOT!HOT!HOT! playing that night, as all their night-outs, free entrance. Nice concept; they provide the DJs and dancefloor, and all you have to do is dance...

Storytelling at Studio USF

The student-theatre Immaturus today performed a play called "Storytelling" which will be running for a week. The storyline mainly concerns an afghan girl loosing her parents during a blitz, and how her life goes from there.

After the play I went to Hulen where Lykke Li and El Parro Del Mar performed. Sold out, as expected, and lovely mood all through the show. I'll upload the photos after work tomorrow.

Wombats filled Hulen to the brim. After a great show half the band crowd-surfed out from the stage to get backstage, and all agreed it had been a good night.

Today I joined Linda and Thomas up to Hulen to take some photos for a little feature in Backstage-magazine.

Linda was making wall-art of the Hulen March-lineup, as is done every month. The first year I worked at Hulen I had no idea who made these or how, so I thought there might be some interest out there still.

Well, here's the photos so far. More to come, and text to go with it.
